Murray Ventilation Products (MVP) proudly offers stainless steel, A60 rated fire dampers. These fire dampers are certified in accordance with the Marine Fire Resistance Test in accordance with IMO resolution A754 (18) and Annex 1: Part 3 of IMO 2010 FTP Code. This certifies these dampers mounted to deck or bulkhead for the following classification societies and organizations: Lloyds Register and SOLAS, DNV-GL, USCG, ABS, and Transport Canada. Rectangular dimensions are from 100 mm to 1000mm in height and length. Actuation is typically through a fail-safe electric actuator in 24 VDC, 120 VAC, or 230 VAC. An Electrical Thermal Release (ETR) probe, set to fail at 72̊ C, will trip the actuator and close the damper. Frame, blades, and hardware are all marine grade stainless steel.
